How to Replace the 87 Icemaker Water Valve

00:47.00: Remove the four perimeter grill screws to remove the grill. 00:55.00: Disconnect the two spade connections to the water solenoid valve. 01:03.00: Remove the two water valve mounting screws. 01:09.00: Press the white ring of the water valve upward to remove the lower outlet hose. 01:24.00: Using a flat blade screwdriver, unclip the locking buckle at the top fitting. 01:34.00: Press the upper ring downward, to remove the hose from the valve. 01:43.00: Using a 15mm wrench, remove the water connector and reinstall on the new valve. 1:53.00: Install the new water valve by simply pressing each line into the respective fittings firmly. 02:06.00: On the upper fitting, reinstall the locking buckle with a tab facing upward. 02:13.00: Install the mount bracket screws, electrical connectors and reinstall the grill. 02:21.00: Reconnect water pressure and power to the unit and allow up to one hour and a half for ice production to resume.
